About a year ago my son injured his hand and needed to take an extended
break from guitar lessons. I decided to “fill in” and start taking the
lessons myself. What a blessing in disguise. I’m now doing a mix of guitar
and songwriting, something that’s been a life-long dream of mine. Mr.
Anderson’s teaching has been an integral part of the experience I’ve had.
Don’t be thrown off by his humble demeanor. He is not only a very talented
musician, but extremely knowledgeable about all things music. I think what
I’m most thankful for, however, is that he is about much more than teaching
an instrument. It becomes clear early on that his primary motivation is to
help people of all ages and talents realize what they want to accomplish
and then puts his knowledge and experience to work in seeing that goal
realized for his students. He’ll take the time to get to know who his
students are and what makes them tick which has gone a long way in helping
my son, who is back to his lessons, develop of love of music.
